Everything is at the right temperature

Numerous temperature-sensitive subprocesses are involved in plastics processing, so reliable temperature control is correspondingly important in this industry. As a supplier to machine manufacturers for plastics processing, we develop screw-in heaters and flange heaters for dryers and for machines for removing moisture. These are used to remove moisture from the chopped-up plastic granulate until it is dry enough for further processing. 

Another area of use is mould heaters: here, temperature control units bring the moulds in injection moulding machines up to the specified temperature. The heating element can be integrated directly in the mould mounting plate, or hot water or oil can be pumped into the mould. Proper control over the temperature has a direct influence on product quality: if the material is injected into a cold mould, this can cause cracks and poor drawing results.
